Upcoming Events for Pack 388
Saturday, February 22nd at 5:30 p.m. - Pack 388 Will be celebrating the 104th Birthday of the Boy Scouts of America via our Annual Blue and Gold Dinner and Scout Bridging Ceremony. We are looking forward to a great time of memories and fine dining!
Friday, October 18th at 6:30 p.m.-Our "Trunk or Treating" Pack Meeting at St. Margaret Mary's Hegarty Hall! Bring your trunk and silly hat for a evening of fun and adventure!
Saturday, October 19th -Our annual visit to Tanaka Farms in Orange County - Another day of fun and learning. The Pack will be meeting at St. Margaret Mary Parish at 12 Noon.

Pack 388 Annual Pinewood Derby Held on January 25th, 2014
As a long-standing tradition within the Cub Scouting experience, Pack 388 Held their Annual Pinewood Derby Races on January 25th 2014 at St. Margaret Mary's Father Hegarty Hall. There were a lot of great designs and speed, speed, speed! As an added bonus the boys were able to share their fine crafts with Father Sebastian, who was highly impressed with the designs of each car and the overall program.
Congratulations to all the Scouts and Parents for making this another very successful derby!
Santa Visits Pack 388
During the Annual Christmas Pack Meeting held on December 20th 2013, Pack 388 was paid a special visit by you-know-who in the red and white suit. Each scout was presented with a Pinewood Derby Car, which will give them a chance to build and race their finest designs at our upcoming Pinewood Derby Races on January 25th 2014.

Successful Scouting For Food Drive Held November 9th, 2013
A hearty THANK-YOU to everyone who had participated in the Scouting for Food Drive held in front of the Vons at Torrance Crossroads. We had obtained 390 non-perishable food items and $531.04 which will all go towards the food bank and Lenten Bag Program at St. Margaret Mary. GREAT JOB SCOUTS AND PARENTS!!!

Grand Opening of the New Torrance Walmart Neighborhood MarketIn the early morning hours of July 24th members of Cub Scout Pack 388 Color Guard had a rare opportunity to participate in the grand opening of the new Torrance Walmart Neighborhood Market on Hawthorne Boulevard. Our Scouts Reed Burkhardt, and brothers Grant and Gatlin Pascual proudly represented our Nation's flag and our Pack.
